Water is life and one of Kenya's most valuable natural resources. The Voice of Integrity Party (VIP) believes that every Kenyan has the right to access safe, clean, affordable, and reliable water. As our population grows and climate change places increasing pressure on rivers, lakes, groundwater, wetlands, and water catchments, Kenya must strengthen the protection, management, conservation, and sustainable use of its water resources. We are committed to investing in water infrastructure, conservation, water harvesting, irrigation, sanitation, and integrated water resource management to secure water for households, agriculture, industry, energy generation, wildlife, and future generations. Kenya's Water Act and Water Resources Regulations provide the legal framework for sustainable management and protection of water resources.

Water Harvesting & Storage
Promote rainwater harvesting, dams, water pans, reservoirs, boreholes, groundwater recharge, and modern storage systems to improve resilience during droughts.
Irrigation & Food Security
Expand sustainable irrigation schemes to improve agricultural productivity, strengthen food security, and support climate-smart farming across Kenya.
Water Quality & Sanitation
Improve wastewater treatment, pollution control, sanitation services, and water quality monitoring to safeguard public health and ecosystems.
